The best creator platforms in India, compared honestly
We make Aura, so we are not neutral, and we would rather say so than pretend. What we can do is be accurate. Every fee below comes from each platform's own pricing or help page, checked on 23 September 2026, and every entry says what that platform does better than we do. Pick the one that fits how you actually earn.

1. Aura
Creators who want memberships, pay-per-view posts, paid DMs and tips in one place, paid in rupees.
- Fees
- 10% platform fee plus 2% payment processing; 0% platform fee for 6 months for the first 100 creators.
- Good at
- UPI, cards and net banking for fans; weekly payouts to a UPI-linked account; memberships are one payment for a month or a year, with no autopay.
- Watch for
- Built for a mainstream audience in India, not a global one. Booked video calls are still coming soon. And yes, this is our own product.
2. Topmate
Consultations, mentorship and bookable 1:1 sessions.
- Fees
- 10% on sales through your own link; 20% on new customers found through its marketplace.
- Good at
- Scheduling, session packages, priority DMs, webinars and a discovery marketplace. Bank payouts usually in 0–2 days.
- Watch for
- Built around sessions and products rather than a membership feed.
3. Cosmofeed
A link-in-bio storefront selling a mix of products and communities.
- Fees
- 10% + GST, which it says covers payment gateway, platform and hosting charges.
- Good at
- One all-in rate; GST input credit if you add your GSTIN.
- Watch for
- Less suited to a subscriber feed with pay-per-view posts.
4. SuperProfile
Selling digital products, courses and community access from one profile.
- Fees
- Free plan at 10%; Premium ₹11,999/yr at 5%; Pro ₹49,999/yr with a custom rate.
- Good at
- Paid plans bring the commission down once you are selling steadily.
- Watch for
- The yearly plans only pay off at volume.
5. TagMango
Course businesses, cohorts and paid communities.
- Fees
- Basic at 10% including the gateway; paid plans from ₹5,000/mo + GST at 5.5% down to 0% + 1.5% gateway on the top plan.
- Good at
- Course tools, Zoom webinars, certificates and no-cost EMI.
- Watch for
- Not built for a content feed, paid DMs or tips.
6. Graphy
Educators selling courses and webinars under their own brand.
- Fees
- From ₹24,999/yr at 10% per sale (or ₹10, whichever is higher), down to 5% on higher plans, plus gateway charges.
- Good at
- Full course platform with memberships and UPI AutoPay.
- Watch for
- A yearly fee before your first sale.
7. Instamojo
Selling physical and digital products from a simple store.
- Fees
- Free plan: 5% + ₹3 on card and UPI payments, 10% + ₹3 on digital products, plus 18% GST on fees.
- Good at
- UPI, cards, net banking and pay-later; paid plans cut the rates.
- Watch for
- A store, not a membership or creator-fan product.
8. Patreon
Creators whose audience is mostly outside India.
- Fees
- 10% for pages launched after 4 Aug 2025 (legacy plans 5–12%), plus processing, conversion and payout fees.
- Good at
- Global checkout, name recognition, strong podcast and video tools.
- Watch for
- No UPI for Indian fans as we checked, and payouts go through PayPal or Payoneer in dollars.
9. Buy Me a Coffee
Simple tips and memberships from an international audience.
- Fees
- 5%, plus Stripe's processing fees on top.
- Good at
- Very quick to set up; payouts to India through Stripe.
- Watch for
- Stripe fees stack up on small Indian payments, and a $10 minimum payout applies.
Questions creators ask
Which creator platform is best in India?
It depends on what you sell. For consultations, Topmate. For courses, Graphy or TagMango. For a mixed digital storefront, Cosmofeed or SuperProfile. For memberships, pay-per-view posts, paid DMs and tips with an audience that pays over UPI, that is what we built Aura for.
Does Patreon support UPI?
Not at checkout, as we checked in September 2026. Indian fans pay by card or PayPal, and creators are paid through PayPal or Payoneer.
What commission do creator platforms in India charge?
Most free plans sit around 10%. Several platforms lower the rate on paid yearly or monthly plans. Check whether payment processing and GST are included or added on top — that is where the real numbers differ.
Do I need a lot of followers to start?
Not on Aura, and not on most of the platforms above. What matters is a few people who already value your work enough to pay for more of it.
